Scouting a route or a trip for the first time, you have to rely on paper maps, GPS coordinates, MapsMe and Google to direct us where we want to go. It does not quite help, if you are always looking for the tiniest little lines on a map and avoid any large towns and major roads. Exploring the "road less traveled" can sometimes land you stranded in the middle of nowhere.
Getting up at 05h00 to meet the local skipper on the beach at 06h00. Lots of interest and assistance for these crazy tourists!

Ready to "Rock and Roll" and off we go on what would turn out as a 6 hour journey from Usisya to a spot south of Livingstonia.
With the help of King, going with us from Usisya, the skipper and some locals from the town where we off-loaded we were quickly back on the road again. This was an extremely interesting excursion and one of the best and most memorable memories I will ever have of Malawi , The Warm Heart of Africa.
Cabin Service - Preparing a nice sandwich and brewing some coffee during the trip.
Yes, the GPS is actually tracking our route!
And lots of help at the offload side. Luckily Lake Malawi has fresh water.
Getting ready to ride again.
